Coral Pink Sand Dunes

Coral Pink Sand Dunes State Park, UT, June 5, 2003.

Some of the dunes have a surprising amount of vegetation, especially where vehicle traffic is restricted. Several Kanab Yuccas (Yucca kanabensis aka Yucca angustissima kanabensis) are shown above. Quite a bit of Rough Mulesears was also present. I found a plantlist for the park on the web.
