Coral Pink Sand Dunes

Coral Pink Sand Dunes State Park, UT, June 5, 2003.

The sand comes from erosion of Navajo sandstone. Not all of the Navajo sandstone is pink. Some is white, and Canyonlands NP has many examples that have both red and white bands.
