Box Canyon Falls

Box Canyon Falls, Ouray CO July 2, 2002.

Box Canyon has an interesting waterfall (evidently even better before it was altered by a flood). I'm told that the main waterfall was to the right of the current fall, which was then secondary. Box Canyon also has nesting Black Swifts! None had hatched yet when I took the picture, but you could sometimes see the egg in the nearest nest.
